Well, since Cat Osterman’s career is over at the University of Texas, I guess it is time for her to start promoting her professional career. Cat has launched her own website at CatOsterman.com, which includes all of her stats and records, as well as upcoming events she will be attending.
Overall the site is pretty cool and it seems like she has a lot of stuff going on in her post UT career. Here is my favorite clip from her Bio:
A left-hander, Cat stands 6-2, with hands so large she can grip a softball entirely with her fingers rather than having to cradle it in her palm.
It almost sounds like she is the Shaq of women’s softball, though her large hands don’t affect her pitching like Shaq’s hands affect his free-throws.

Hi Cat: My daughter (Jena) and I were up at the pitching clinic near Chicago in Feb. We had a great time and it was real nice to meet you and Michele. Did ya like the snow when you woke up Sunday??? Surprise, huh? Nice to see you have your web site going. Good luck in the Pro league in Rockford, well try to make some games. Maybe I’ll bring my ASA teams (12U, 14U, & 16U) up to watch a game. I play softball and am a good player but find that i don’t get alot of credit from coaches @ the jr high level i love softball but sometimes i just want to quit i sometimes think no matter how good i am they don’t care what should i do?

hey cat.people on my team call me cat too!i was recently at the the DePaul game and you were there as their pitching coach.I’m in 12u in berwyn bash.you know my coach as the depaul ump and he said he talked to you if you could come talk to us but you were too busy with underarmour comertials.well get back to robert becker so u can come see us…..looking forward to it.hope depaul goes all the way and Ill see at more depaul games with my team.

Cat i am such a humungous fan i found some thing tht we have in common i am only 13 and i have big hands. i can palm a boys basketball but i wanna be a pitcher just like you i am alo left handed. my biggest dream is to see you in person. im a back up pitcher. im fast but not accurate. i want to get accurate jist like you!!!!!!!!!!!
