We thought it was going to be an exciting, high scoring game and Texas and Texas Tech certainly didn’t disappoint when they took the field Saturday afternoon. The Longhorns were able to put up enough points to make up for a defense that couldn’t consistently stop Graham Harrell and the Red Raiders explosive offense. The win moves the team to 9-2 on the season and keeps the Horns in position for a possible BCS birth.

Real weak highlight package from ESPN this week. These are the clips they showed on College Gameday Final and even Sportscenter showed more. I can’t believe they didn’t show Colt McCoy’s fantastic touchdown run or Nate Jones’ TD where he tip-toed down the sideline for 30+ yards. I guess when you have to spend 5 minutes discussing Notre Dame losing again you don’t have time to show more than 41 seconds of highlights of an exciting game featuring a ranked team.

the only thing that surprises me is that there was doubt that tech would win…any team that shows postive progress always has a better chance of winning, those who show little to no improvemtn get too relaxed in their position and usually cave in at the end…if you dont believe watch the game again ….

And the longhorns didn’t take the lead until 1:35 left in the game. Give it up Brian, the horns got beat..It wasn’t their year in Lubbock.

@raider dad: Dude read his comment, it makes no sense. I wasn’t arguing that Texas Tech didn’t play a great game or didn’t deserve to win.
