No first-round receiver? Vince Young says no problem. I hope he’s right, I wish they’d moved up and gotten one in the 2nd though.

Vince Young and new coach Mike Heimerdinger are working on his footwork. Should help his accuracy when outside the pocket.

It’s been way too long since we’ve posted a Rose Bowl video, so check out one of the best I’ve seen below:

Texas vs. USC from YouTube.com

Makes me want to go watch my Rose Bowl DVD for the tenth time. This video tries to highlight the game itself and not just the Horns, but it still turns out to be much more of a Longhorn video. Not that that’s a bad thing. I could watch the last three minutes of this thing over and over again. The only thing it is missing is the audio from Craig Way’s call of the 4th and 5 play to win it.

Thanks go to jbHorn over on Orangebloods for the link.

ESPN reviews each AFC and NFC team draft since 2000. Not so great for the Longhorns until recent years.

Longhorn pipeline may continue to flow for Titans. I’d love to see them pick up Sweed in the first and Charles and the second or third.

2008 Michael Huff Celebrity Weekend benefited local charities. Check out video and photo gallery of the event.

Titans looking to provide Vince Young with more help. Hopefully the team adds an offensive playmaker (or 3) to give Vince more options on offense.

Longhorns participate in Leadership Luncheon. Vince Young, Mike Griffin, Kyle Russell, & others discuss the importance of effective organizations & leadership skills.

Vince Young uses spring break to meet new coordinator. With Vince in Austin they hadn’t met face-to-face yet.

Jerseys of Vince Young and Kevin Durant may be retired. It definitely should happen, but there’s no need to hurry.

Video: Vince Young Framed. VY shows his acting chops and actually does a good job. (via)

Vince Young is back on campus to finish degree. Good for him, he’s definitely setting a good example for youngsters.

Vince Young practices but is a game-time decision against San Diego. He’s going to have to carry the team, hope he’s healthy.

Vince Young down 2 of his top 3 targets for the playoffs. Roydell Williams has a broken ankle. Crap.

Jeff Fisher & Vince Young work to find right recipe. To me either Vince or the coaches have hamstrung him too much and aren’t letting him be himself.

ESPN ranks NFL QB’s from 1 to 64. Vince is 15th, David Carr is 63rd. Ouch.

Norm Chow to UCLA? I haven’t been overly impressed with his NFL work so I think Vince will be fine without him if he leaves.

Vince Young is ABC’s tenth greatest college football player ever. Definitely would have been higher if he returned for senior season.

Vince Young likely to start Sunday against Raiders. Might not be 100% but they think he won’t re-injure his quad.

Vince’s quad is improving, but he’s still questionable against the Texans. Ahmard Hall is still being held out as well for the Titans.

Vince Young day to day with quadriceps strain. Hopefully he’s healthy enough to lay a beating on the Texans next Sunday.

Vince Young says the team needs more unity… “This team right here has all the talent in the world. They just need to pull together.”

Vince Young just knows how to win. It’s surprising how long it took the NFL guys to figure out something Longhorn fans have know for years.

In his first appearance on Monday Night Football and the Titans soundly beat the Saints 31 - 14 tonight. The Titans offense started off hot and Vince was sharp throwing the ball until he banged up him arm late in the first half. In the fourth quarter the defense took care of business and finished off the game.

Vince’s postgame interview is below:

I think it’s funny that Vince Young referred to himself as Vince Young more times than either reporter or linebacker Keith Bulluck did.

I missed the whole game (I’m still at work) but caught the game on Sirius Radio and Boomer Esiason was giving him a ton of love the entire game. Vince is definitely winning over the national media with his performances on the field. The AFC South is tough this year but the way Vince has them playing the Titans looks like they could make a run for the playoffs.

Vince Young trying to evolve from thrower to passer. I think the late Eric Moulds signing may be the Titans only good move of the offseason.
